YallaSplit — Terms of Service
Last updated: 11 October 2026
These terms apply when you use the YallaSplit app, made by Orbita in Amman, Jordan. By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
What YallaSplit does
YallaSplit helps you split a bill between people. You scan a receipt or enter items, say who had what, and share what each person owes. The app is free to use.
Check the numbers
The app is a calculation aid. Receipt scanning can misread names, prices or charges, and the split depends on what you enter. Review the items and totals before you share them. You are responsible for the amounts you send to others.
No payments
YallaSplit does not move money, hold money, or process payments. A CliQ alias or mobile number you add is only text included in your shared message. Any payment between you and your friends happens outside the app and is between you and them.
Receipt scanning allowance
Scanning uses an online service with a free monthly allowance per installation, shown in the app. We may change the allowance. When it is used up, or when you are offline, the app reads receipts on your phone instead, which can be less accurate.
Using the app fairly
Do not use the app for anything unlawful, do not try to overload, bypass or interfere with the scan service, and do not upload images that are not receipts or bills or that you have no right to use.
Your content
Your bills, names and settings stay on your phone and remain yours. Our Privacy Policy explains what leaves your device and when.
Our content
The YallaSplit name, logo, design and software belong to Orbita. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial bill splitting. You may not copy, resell or reverse engineer it.
No warranty
The app is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that it will be error-free, always available, or that scans will be accurate.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, Orbita is not liable for losses that result from using the app, including amounts that were calculated, scanned or shared incorrectly, or disputes between you and the people you split with.
Changes
We may update the app and these terms. If the terms change in an important way, we will update this page and its date. Continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the courts of Amman have jurisdiction.
